Byeongjin Baek was selected to give\u00a0the opening presentation on &#8220;Experimental and theoretical insights into the hydrogen-efficient direct hydrodeoxygenation mechanism of phenol over Ru\/TiO<sub>2<\/sub>(110)&#8221;. Sashank Kasiraju received\u00a0a Best Poster Award\u00a0for his work towards answering the question &#8220;Is MoO<sub>3<\/sub> a good hydrodeoxygenation catalyst?&#8221;.
