Former group member shares inspiring story

UH graduate James Sutjianto, now a PhD student at Penn State, shares his inspiring story to encourage other individuals with disabilities to enter STEM research. While at UH, James performed synthesis experiments and carried out first-principles simulations as undergraduate research project on zeolite catalysis in the groups of Dr. Rimer and Dr. Grabow. He then joined Penn State in 2018 and received support through the prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program. We are very proud of James and are looking forward to hearing more success stories from him in the future, visit us. Best of luck and best wishes from Houston!
